I have made this twice now and it’s seriously the BEST slow cooker pork chop recipe you’ll ever taste in your life. Seriously. It’s a concoction I made up on my own one day and everyone who has ate them has LOVED them to bits.
The Best Slow Cooker Pork Chops Ever
- 9 boneless pork chops (I say 9 but really, I just grab the Value Pack / Club Pack size and go with it – you can make 4 or make 9… don’t sweat it!)
- 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
- beef broth
- 1/2 package of Knorr Roasted Garlic Onion soup mix
- olive oil
- steak spice of your choice (I like Montreal steak spice myself)
In your slow cooker, add the can of condensed soup. Then, fill up that can with the beef broth and pour into the slow cooker. Whisk that together but don’t worry about getting it perfectly lump-free. Just some hearty whiskin’ shall do! Add your 1/2 package of soup mix and whisk that up too.
In a skillet or a frying pan, add about a tablespoon of olive oil. In a shallow bowl, mix together some flour and steak spice. The amounts are going to be dependent on the number of chops you have but you want it to be 3/4 flour and 1/4 spice mix. Dredge (which basically means drag through) your pork chops in the flour mixture and then add to the frying pan. Just brown on both sides (don’t cook it the whole way through) and then toss each piece into the crock pot.
Using a baster, suck up the soupy mixture and squirt it onto the top of the chops until they are all coated and looking yummy. Turn your crock pot onto low for 5-6 hours and enjoy!
The soupy mixture also makes an EXCELLENT gravy for potatoes and other sides.
